French-Chinese Chest

This client is moving to France and wanted a little je ne sais quoi adding to this beautiful chest to make it fit for a chateau. We mixed a custom colour using Annie Sloan’s Louis Blue and Duck Egg Blue, white-washed the whole piece, distressed the edges, used Dark Wax to add depth and finished with a touch of Gold Gilding Wax to highlight the features. We love the fusion of these two cultures!
